About the holiday:
Fly to Paris for an indulgent 2-night stay, then travel to Rome in the most luxurious way aboard the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. With the all-inclusive overnight rail service (a first in its decade-long service), you'll enjoy a plush brand-new cabin and be wined and dined in meticulously restored 1920s dining cars. After an elegant stay in the centre of Rome, board Cunard's magnificent Queen Victoria for an unforgettable cruising experience, with highlights in Greece, Montenegro, Croatia, Malta and Italy.
About the train:
The search for the missing Orient Express carriages is worthy of its own mystery novel. In the mid-1990's the iconic luxury train service was abandoned, but where the train cars ended up was unknown. It wasn't until a world-wide search ten years later finally located the last Orient Express in Poland and the art deco features were in miraculously good condition. Since then, it's being brought back to life by the finest French artisans, who are meticulously restoring and extending the train's history. The train that once changed rail travel forever in 1883, will once again invite travellers to experience a new and unique luxury format in 2024.
About the cruise:
There’s something distinctly refined and regal about a Cunard cruise and the beautiful Queen Victoria certainly upholds the fine traditions of this luxury line. Even before you board this beautiful ship, you’ll note the trademark black and red livery which, together with her sleek modern design, immediately sets the theme of proud cruising heritage married with innovative features for today’s cruise guests. From her plush, elegantly decorated public rooms to her gourmet dining and luxurious, spacious cabins, Queen Victoria exudes class. The range of options for high-quality entertainment and enrichment, as well as serene relaxation make for the cruise holiday of a lifetime.
