About the itinerary:

Calgary - Banff National Park - Lake Louise - Canmore - Banff National Park - Canmore - Vernon - Vancouver - Inside Passage - Sitka - Juneau - Skagway - Tracy Arm Fjord - Vancouver

Your holiday starts in Calgary, where you’ll enjoy your first night at leisure. On day two, you’ll embark on a city tour. From here, you’ll begin your journey to the Rocky Mountains. On arrival in Banff National Park, you’ll discover the Banff town site, Tunnel Mountain, Johnston Canyon, the Hoodoos, the Bow Valley Parkway, and the world-famous Lake Louise.

Day three is yours to explore Canmore and Banff National Park as you please or join an optional tour along the Icefields Parkway. The following day, you’ll drive along the famed TransCanada Highway. Your journey continues through the Monashee Mountain Range to the town of Vernon, where you’ll spend the evening. On day five, you’ll leave the Okanagan Valley bound for Vancouver. On arrival, you’ll enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city and the following day, you’ll board your seven-night cruise through Alaska.

On day seven, you’ll begin your journey through Alaska’s Inside Passage; expect to see breathtakingly rugged scenery and incredible wildlife, including salmon sharks, white spirit bears, and an array of fascinating seabirds. The next day, you’ll arrive in the small town of Sitka. Here, you can kayak through Sitka Sound, hike along Baranof Island trails or learn about the indigenous history of the town. On day nine, you’ll arrive in Juneau, accessible only by air or sea. Here, you’ll experience majestic views of snowcapped mountains, misty rainforests, massive glaciers and endless wildlife. Skagway is next – if you’re an outdoor adventure enthusiast, this is the town for you.

You’ll sail through the staggering beauty of Tracy Arm Fjord on day 11. This deep and narrow passage offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in Alaska and is home to an astounding array of wildlife. Expect to see mountain goats, newborn seal pups, black bears hunting for food and soaring eagles overhead. The following day, you’ll spend time at sea before returning to your final destination of Vancouver.
