About the itinerary
Days 1-2: Board your flight in Sydney, bound for Singapore. Upon arrival in Singapore, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. You’ll enjoy a two-night stay here and can explore this vibrant city at your own pace. During your stay, you could marvel at the iconic Marina Bay Sands, explore the lush Gardens by the Bay, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of multicultural neighbourhoods like Chinatown and Little India.
Day 3: After breakfast this morning, you’ll be transferred from the hotel to the cruise port to board the Seabourn Encore.
Day 4: This is your first full day at sea and will be spent sailing. Spend the day getting acquainted with this luxury vessel and your fellow passengers.
Day 5: Today, you’ll arrive in Ho Chi Minh City to enjoy a one-night stay. While here, you could visit the historic War Remnants Museum, explore the bustling Ben Thanh Market or take a guided tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels just outside the city.
Day 6: You’ll depart Ho Chi Minh at 4 pm today.
Day 7: You’ll enjoy another day at sea as you sail north toward Da Nang.
Day 8: Hue is a fascinating city, and the picturesque Hoi An is nearby. While in port, you could discover Hoi An by bike, explore the vibrant city of Da Nang with its Cham Museum and Marble Mountain Beach or immerse yourself in the historical splendour of the Imperial City of Hue.
Day 9: This is another day spent cruising toward Hong Kong.
Day 10: You’ll sail into Hong Kong Harbour around 9 am. While here, you could experience a full-day tour of Hong Kong and ride on the Peak Tram; you could visit Lantau Island and its monastery or enjoy an exclusive discovery of the city’s unique highlights with a private car.
Day 11: Another day spent at sea; you'll be headed for Taiwan.
Day 12: Keelung is Taiwan's second largest port and very close to the incredible Taipei. While in port today, you could join a tour of Taipei, visit Yang Ming Shan Hot Springs in Yehliu Geopark, or enjoy a charming walking tour of Chiufen.
Days 13-14: Enjoy your last full days at sea as you sail toward Japan.
Day 14: You’ll arrive in Kochi today, your first stop in Japan. While here, you could explore the historic Kochi Castle, savour local flavours at Hirome Market or admire the natural beauty of the Shimanto River.
Day 15: Today, you’ll arrive in Tokushima. Here, you can see the Naruto Whirlpools, explore the scenic Iya Valley, or visit the historic Otsuka Museum of Art.
Day 16: You’ll sail into Kobe this morning, your final cruise port. Upon disembarkation, you’ll be transferred to your accommodation in Osaka, where you’ll enjoy a three-night stay.
Day 18: After breakfast, make your way to the agreed-upon meeting point to join your full-day tour of Kyoto and Nara. Kyoto is renowned for its well-preserved temples, traditional wooden houses, and cultural heritage, while Nara is famous for its historic temples, including Todai-ji and the free-roaming deer in Nara Park.
Day 19: Enjoy a day of leisure today in Osaka. You could visit the impressive Osaka Castle, explore the bustling Dotonbori district or enjoy the diverse exhibits at the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan.
Day 20: Today is your final day. After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight home to Sydney.
