About the itinerary:
On arrival in Bali, you’ll enjoy a 5-night stay at the 5-star Kuta Beach Heritage Bali. Here you are free to do as much or as little as you like. On day 6, you’ll make your way to Benoa to meet your 13-night cruise to Cairns. Your first stop is Lembar Harbor on Indonesia’s Lombok Island. From here, you’ll head to Loh Liang, where you’ll encounter fascinating Komodo dragons at the Komodo National Park. These massive lizards are believed to be the largest reptiles on Earth. Next up is the town of Ende on the island of Flores - known for its stunning volcanic landscapes and vibrant local culture.
After spending a day at sea, you’ll arrive at Pulau Banda, an archipelago located in the Banda Sea and well-known for its diving and snorkelling spots. Kokas is next, located on the mid-north coast of the Bomberai Peninsular. From here, you’ll head to Triton Bay in the West Papua province of Indonesia, renowned for its stunning marine biodiversity and vibrant coral reefs. Tual is next, located in the southeastern part of the Maluku Islands. The locals here are largely of the Kei ethnic group, who have their own unique traditions and cultural heritage - a fascinating stop for culture and history lovers.
After another day spent at sea, you’ll arrive on Thursday Island, where you can explore local museums and art galleries or simply enjoy the island’s stunning beaches, clear water and ample snorkelling spots. After another day at sea, you’ll arrive at Lizard Island on the Great Barrier Reef. Also known for its stunning snorkelling spots, this exclusive island has up to 24 pristine white sand beaches and a spectacular blue lagoon.
From here, you head to your final destination of Cairns, where you’ll enjoy a 3-night stay at the 5-star Pullman Reef Hotel Casino before meeting your flight back to Sydney.
