About the itinerary
Day 1: Pack your bags and board your flight today to South Africa!
Day 2: Welcome to Johannesburg! Make your way to your hotel, which is adjacent to the airport.
Day 3: After breakfast today, your guide will welcome you at reception. You'll learn a little about South Africa's history as you make your way to your accommodation on the border of Kruger National Park.
Day 4: Start your day with an early breakfast before embarking on an exciting full-day safari in an open game drive vehicle at Kruger National Park. This vast park boasts unparalleled biodiversity, with 147 mammal species, 507 bird species, 114 reptile species, 49 fish species, and 34 amphibian species, making it one of the world's premier wildlife destinations.
Day 5: Enjoy a day of leisure today. You can spend time at the lodge poolside, or you could choose to join another full-day game drive through Kruger (at additional cost).
Day 6: Prepare to leave Kruger today. After breakfast, you'll head to the airport to catch your flight to Cape Town. On arrival at the airport, you'll be met by a local guide who will take you to your hotel for the next four nights.
Day 7: On a city tour of Cape Town, you'll explore highlights like Table Mountain, the colourful houses of Bo-Kaap, the Castle of Good Hope, and The Company's Garden while soaking up the vibrant energy of the city.
Day 8: Enjoy a day of leisure today, exploring this beautiful city as you please. Alternatively, you could discover the famous Winelands on an optional tour (at additional cost).
