The Columbus will be new to Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ fleet, joining in June 2017 after a complete refit. Holding 1400 passengers, it offers a range of activities and facilities such as a well being centre with a fully-equipped gym, an outdoor cinema and two heated swimming pools. There’s also a place for ballroom dancing, two deck bars and eight lounge bars. Food options include three fine dining restaurants, two casual eateries and coffee shops.
Trip highlights include Yorkeys Knob in Queensland, just north of Cairns, featuring a tropical climate and pristine waters. Cruise to Komodo, one of Indonesia's 17,000 islands and home to the Komodo dragon. You’ll see a beach of blushing-pink sand -- one of only seven of its kind worldwide, due to the red coral offshore. Wander the bustling streets of Philippines capital city Manila, sightsee in Shanghai and catch the famous tram to Victoria Peak in Hong Kong for views of verdant mountains speckled amongst the concrete jungle.
