Spend two nights in the vibrant city of Shanghai, home to some of the world’s tallest skyscrapers, miles of luxury goods shops, and scores of trendy bars and restaurants (Fodors) before cruising onboard Westerdam - part of the Holland America cruise fleet - with your first stop in the charming city of Qingdao, China.
Sail to Tianjin, described by Lonely Planet as a "laid-back city, with a pleasant river promenade and some charming, European-flavoured neighbourhoods" and a popular stop for those visiting the Forbidden City and Summer Palace in nearby Beijing.
