Boutique Hotel 102 Dortmund City is a modern property in the centre of Dortmund, in Germany’s North Rhine-Westphalia region.
The city is well-known for its football team, Borussia Dortmund. The club’s stadium, Signal Iduna Park, is around 30 minutes' walk from the hotel or 20 minutes by public transport. It is close to Westfalen Park (entrance fees apply), a 70-hectare park that is home to the German Rosarium -- a collection of over 3000 types of roses -- and the 200-metre-high Florianturn tower, which has an observation deck where you can take in great views of the city (entrance fees apply). There is also a mini train that goes around the park, an open-air theatre, a Japanese garden, a bakery, several children's playgrounds and a small lake with a restaurant on the water.
Back in the city centre, there are plenty of attractions within a short walk of Boutique Hotel 102 Dortmund City, including "treasure-filled churches and high-calibre art museums" (Lonely Planet). St Reinoldi, a 13th-century Romanesque church, is 10 minutes' walk from the hotel, while The German Football Museum is five minutes' walk away. Museum Ostwall, set in the Dortmund U-Tower -- a former brewery that now houses a collection of 20th- and 21st-century art -- is also five minutes' walk away.
Facilities include a 24-hour front desk, a bar, a terrace, and a breakfast room where a hot and cold buffet is served in the morning (fees apply). Wi-Fi is free.
