Linekin Bay Resort is located in the beautiful coastal town of Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Originally opened up as a waterfront camp for girls in 1919, this property has evolved into a place for families to start new traditions.

Lodging varies by room type, but most have water views. The Linwood Lodge features private decks with incredible views. Some rooms are pet-friendly, which makes bringing the whole family even easier (additional fees may apply). The on-site waterfront Deck Bar & Grill serves traditional Maine fare with a twist.

The cabin was freezing when we checked in (they knew we were coming and couldn't turn on the heat??). The stands and bureau went downhill floor was so unlevel. The bed had a big lump in the middle and was squeaky. The bathroom linoleum was not cut to the tub or wall; the wood trim around the toilet unpainted, and there was a tile missing. No TV in room (they said they encouraged outdoor activities, it was raining and cold). There were no cups nor outlets in the bathroom (there was an extension cord!). There was no alarm clock, and we killed a spider in the room. There was no chain lock on the door and you could see outside. We ate in the restaurant and the haddock sandwich was tasteless. My husband's burger was supposed to be well done but it was raw and they did take that off the bill. They said fries with the burger would be $4 and they charged us $7. The breakfast buffet, however, was very good.

We opted for a pet friendly cabin. The cabin was roomy and rustic. That was fine but it should have been cleaner.

We were in a beautifully renovated, clean cottage overlooking the Bay. Nice breakfast, paddle boards, kayaks, small sailboats, pool, wonderful views are all included with no unexpected fees. It was just perfect for our anniversary get away!!!
    Other Comments
Bar and grill on-site also has amazing food at a fair price. We will go back again.

Just about EVERYTHING, including a staff that was most friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating!

Four stars on Staff/Service above, only because dining room was very short-handed the night we were there. May have been the exception vs. the rule. (?) FOR RESORT ONLY: Perhaps you would consider an additional (small) sink in built-in shelf area in living room in Port cottages, along with a small Keurig and microwave. Also would suggest a mirror in the cottage in addition to small bathroom mirror.

We had a Travelzoon deal so it was fine for what we paid. I would never pay their normal rates to stay here. Not all rooms and cabins are air conditioned. We were lucky to have stayed in a newly renovated cabin with AC. The one night we decided to stay onsite and eat in the restaurant we were basically turned away "because the kitchen was having trouble getting the food out." The included breakfast buffet was good which was helpful as the resort is somewhat isolated and we found eating difficult. Beach towels, kayaks, paddle boards, etc are included. All the staff was pleasant and helpful as we found out when the AC wouldn't come on and we were unable to lock the door. If we went back on a Travelsoo deal, we would definitely bring some food as we did have a mini fridge in our cabin.

Not a very long amount of time between check in and out and not the type of place to just go to sleep there. REally is a vacation / long term destination.
