Erin at check-in exceptional. All staff encountered - bell desk, breakfast, janitorial - cordial and welcoming. We returned after honeymooning here in 1965.

The Bayshore’s Dine Out Vancouver meal was delicious but disappointing. I checked their website and menu, and dressed for a nice evening in a nice restaurant. Turns out their main restaurant is a burger sports bar with excellent food but no atmosphere and tables squished up against each other, which were filled up beside us even when there were many other tables empty that would have given us some privacy. And, though the food and service were excellent, the meal, atmosphere, and tv’s all around did not justify the $48 per person we paid. Next time, Bayshore, stick to what your restaurant really is and feature your burgers, which all looked excellent.

Nice location (marina view/seawall), but not very central to downtown restaurants and amenities.
Other Comments
The guests staying in the adjoining rooms were smoking marijuana and the smell/smoke permeated into our room to the extent that it affected our ability to sleep or enjoy our stay; security was called, confirmed that there was smoking occurring, but that they couldn't do anything. They offered for us to change rooms but it was after midnight. Ultimately, the room charge was waived, which was appreciated, but it was a disappointing experience nonetheless.
