Dorint Venusberg Bonn
About the Hotel
Why We Love This Hotel
- Stay in a quiet location in the forest with views over Bonn
- Some of the spacious rooms come with a balcony or terrace
- In summer, you can take in views of the Rhine from the restaurant's terrace
Dorint Venusberg Bonn is a 3-storey hotel located above the former federal capital of Germany. It is situated at the end of a small climb on the 176 meter high, wooded mountain of Venusberg. The legendary Villa Kiefernweg 12 is located in the area below the hotel. Top politicians such as Chancellor Willy Brandt had their private office here.
Many rooms have their own balcony or terrace, some with forest or valley views. All rooms are spacious, bright and decorated in a modern country style. Wi-Fi is included.
Bonn city centre is a 10-minute drive from the hotel. It is steeped in German history, with sights including the Chancellery bungalow, House of History and Bonn Minster. The city also has a lot to offer in terms of culinary delights -- gastronomy guide Gault Millau named Bonn the gourmet capital of Germany.
The hotel restaurant serves international cuisine with a light Mediterranean touch. On the menu there is something for every taste. In good weather, we recommend a meal on the summer terrace with an impressive view of the Rhine Valley.
