Named to Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best list for Caribbean Resorts in 2015, the beachfront St. Kitts Marriott is a large property catering to diverse travel styles. As one of the biggest on the island, the resort offers amenities not found at smaller properties, including a 35,000-square-foot casino, a full-service spa with steam rooms and a beauty salon, and a championship golf course. With nine event rooms, the hotel is a popular venue for destination weddings.
Guests have access to the private beach as well as the fitness center, large lagoon-style pool and whirlpool tub ringed with palm trees. To beat the heat, guests can sip tropical cocktails from the swim-up bar or lounge under an umbrella.
All accommodations include coffeemakers, free Wi-Fi, refrigerators and many offer private balconies. Guests can choose from rooms with one king bed or two double beds, as well as views of the resort, garden and pool. Upgraded suites feature extras like whirlpools, ocean views, sofa beds and additional bathrooms. Villas with living areas, kitchens and enormous bathrooms featuring jetted tubs and separate showers are also available.
The hotel has a daily breakfast buffet and several options for dinner, including a steakhouse, a seafood restaurant with panoramic ocean views, a Caribbean buffet and casual pizza joint. More dining options can be found in Kittitian Village, a five-minute walk from the property, and Frigate Bay, one mile away.
