Iberostar Ciudad Blanca is a family-friendly resort on the northeast coast of Mallorca, with direct access to Alcúdia Beach's fine white sand and turquoise waters. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, and Puerto de Alcúdia and the walled old town of Alcúdia are both a few minutes away by bus. Picturesque Pollença, in the east of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, is around 20 minutes' drive away, but can be tricky to reach without a car.
Among the palm trees in the hotel's landscaped gardens are swimming pools and plenty of places to soak up the sun, including poolside sunloungers with umbrellas.
The resort is geared towards families and there are plenty of facilities to keep younger guests entertained, including a playground and a pool with waterslides. Kids' clubs operate during July and August -- the Miniclub, for children aged four to seven; the Maxiclub, for children aged eight to 12; and the Teenieclub for teens aged 13 to 17. There's also a spa where parents can relax and enjoy treatments including massages. The hotel holds a TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award 2016 in the Top 25 Hotels for Families - Spain category.
Dining options include a main buffet restaurant with an outdoor terrace by the pool, a snack bar and an à la carte beachfront restaurant that serves cocktails and hosts live music on weekends.
Accommodation ranges from economical studio apartments with garden views to more spacious apartments that overlook the beach and the Bay of Alcúdia.
