Set in downtown Reno next to the famed Reno Arch and a five-minute walk from the Riverwalk, Harrah’s Reno offers affordable stays with numerous entertainment options for guests.
The world’s first Harrah’s hotel is home to a 60,000-square-foot, 24-hour casino containing over 650 slot machines, table games and sports betting. The hotel features an arcade/game room, an outdoor pool with a sundeck, a full-service spa and salon, seven restaurants and a showroom where legendary performers like Sammy Davis Jr., Sonny and Cher and Joan Rivers have graced the stage. Today, patrons of the hotel can catch magic, comedy and live music performances in one of the three event venues on site.
Harrah’s homey, comfortable guest rooms offer Wi-Fi, and some can accommodate up to two pups for a fee. Outside the hotel, restaurants and shops are plentiful within immediate walking distance. Guests can also visit the National Automobile Museum -- a five-minute walk -- which features founder William F. Harrah’s antique car collection, including the set of wheels driven by James Dean in “Rebel Without a Cause.” Two golf courses are within a 15-minute drive.
A resort fee of $12 per night, tax inclusive, is applicable. The fee covers Wi-Fi, valet and self-parking and an airport shuttle.
