Set a short walk from the Vatican, NH Collection Roma Giustiniano is a modern 4-star hotel in Rome's city center. The hotel is in Prati, "a posh, leafy district of grand homes and wide boulevards" (New York Post) that's known for its food scene and the shops on Via Cola di Rienzo. The hotel is 15 minutes' walk from St Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums, where you'll find the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo's masterpiece. We recommend booking your tickets online in advance, or arriving early before the queue gets too long.
The Castel Sant'Angelo, an imposing fortress on the west bank of the River Tiber that started life as a mausoleum for the emperor Hadrian, is three blocks from the hotel. Attractions on the east side of the River Tiber are easy to reach, too. It's a 15-minute bus journey to the Pantheon, and the antiquities and archaeological sites at the Roman Forum are 35 minutes' walk away, or 20 minutes by bus. Lepanto Metro station is a 10-minute walk from the hotel, for journeys to the Spanish Steps or Piazza Barberini in around 5-10 minutes.
The hotel's Zenzero & Cannella restaurant serves a breakfast buffet, and Italian dishes at lunch and dinner. There's also a gym (open 6 a.m.-12 a.m.) and a lobby bar.
Guest rooms have air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a Lavazza coffee machine. Premium Double XL rooms are almost twice as large as the standard Superior Rooms. Junior Suites are larger still, and have a separate sitting room.
