Renovated in 2010, chicly furnished rooms are compact and soundproof. Rooms have walk-in showers and the roomy suites have funky bath tubs, illuminated in fluorescent colors.
Be sure to explore the local area -- Au Paradis du Gourmand bakery, five minutes' walk along the Rue Raymond Losserand, won the Best Baguette in Paris competition in 2013 and now supplies the President with his bread. Looking for a place to go jogging? Try the Parc Montsouris, a couple of blocks to the east. You might also spot the stone monument to the original Meridian line -- Paris, not Greenwich, was the zero point for longitude in the 17th and 18th centuries.
