The Masthead Resort
Why We Love This Hotel
- Family owned resort on the harbor and near town
- Cottages so close to the water that high tide reaches their piers
- Property includes a 450-foot private beach
- Free parking and Wi-Fi
Family owned and operated for over half a century, The Masthead Resort offers unparalleled views of the ocean from its cottages, suites and guest rooms. The hotel’s private beach backs into a wide lawn dotted with lounge chairs and manicured gardens. Guests can take in the sea breeze from the sun deck, boardwalk and picnic area with barbecue grills.
Rooms are outfitted with refrigerators, coffeemakers, flat screen televisions and free Wi-Fi. Groups and families can upgrade to suites or waterfront cottages with private verandas, kitchens and fireplaces. One of the cottages was originally built in the 1800s on Cape Cod’s outer peninsula but was floated across the harbor on a raft when its isolated location proved too challenging for everyday life.
The Masthead is within a few blocks of several restaurants and only a ten-minute walk from the center of town. Provincetown is home to pristine beaches, art galleries, shopping boutiques and museums.
