Ikos Oceania is a luxurious all-inclusive resort with a private beach, on Halkidiki's Kassandra peninsula.Surrounded by a 15-acre garden dotted with palm trees, the hotel is a 25-minute walk from Nea Moudania, which is one of the biggest fishing ports in Greece and is home to a large harbour and a 2000-seat amphitheatre. It's a 50-minute drive from Thessaloniki, the region's capital.
The hotel operates an 'Infinite Lifestyle' concept -- an all-inclusive programme which offers a choice of restaurants headed up my Michelin-starred chefs, watersports, all-day snacks and live entertainment. The 'Dine Out' service provides transport to a number of specially selected local restaurants. An all-day waiter service and childcare options are available at the private beach. There are also dedicated clubs for children of all ages and a summer football academy.
The resort's restaurants serve Greek, Italian, French and Asian cuisine, and snacks are available throughout the day. The Ikos Spa by Anne Semonin offers treatments from the French beauty brand, and features a Jacuzzi, a hammam, a sauna and a gym. Nightly live entertainment ranges from West End shows to film screenings at the Ikos Theatre.
The contemporary rooms all feature floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony, and most overlook the sea. The décor combines sea-blue fabrics, sand-coloured furniture and sleek floor tiles. Guests in the Deluxe Collection rooms receive additional perks including access to an exclusive pool, reserved beach areas, a free spa treatment, a special dinner on the beach and a bottle of champagne on arrival.
