This 26-room eco retreat in the heart of Barcelona is just a 2-minute stroll from both Las Ramblas and Plaça de Catalunya.
It's perfectly placed within walking distance of Barcelona's top attractions including the MACBA Modern Art Museum, the lively Boqueria food market and the atmospheric Gothic Quarter. Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia can be reached in 35 minutes.
This family-run hotel is environmentally friendly throughout, from the energy-efficient lighting system to the water-based paints and organic cleaning products used in the rooms. The small bar area is decorated with chessboard flooring, bold graphic-print wallpaper and modern metal chairs in primary colours. There's no restaurant on site but some of Barcelona's best eateries are on the doorstep.
The rooms feature bedside tables made from banana tree trunks, restored desks from a Catalan country house and bathrooms with white chunky tiles. All rooms have free Wi-Fi and some come with a balcony.
