The ancient town of Amathounta, which dates back to 1100BC, is just a few minutes’ drive away, while the Kourion Archaeological Site only 25 minutes’ drive away. Further afield, the mountainous Troödos region can also be reached within an hour.
Lemesos has plenty of restaurants, cafés and bars, but if you’re back at the hotel, there’s no shortage of dining options. Choose from four restaurants (five in the summer months), including Ristorante Bacco, which serves Tuscan fare, and Shumi Sushi Bar. Four bars serve drinks, snacks and ice creams throughout the day. Other facilities include outdoor and indoor pools, tennis courts, a gym and a scuba diving centre, as well as children’s clubs. Spa treatments are available at the Aquum Health Spa (charges apply).
