Island Inn All Inclusive Hotel
About the Hotel
Why We Love This Hotel
- Hotel on a UNESCO World Heritage site constructed in a rum storage facility originally built for the British Regiment in the 1800s
- Small all-inclusive hotel in a convenient location
- Renovations have brought forth “modern, attractively decorated rooms” (Oyster)
- The hotel chefs will prepare guests a picnic lunch for a relaxing day spent at the nearby Pebbles Beach on Carlisle Bay
A charming and cozy all-inclusive in the Garrison, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Island Inn Hotel places guests in a location that is convenient for exploring. With only 24 rooms, the hotel creates a “friendly, accommodating atmosphere” and delivers personalized service and great value (Oyster).
Much of the property has been redone to create an updated look. The “modern, attractively decorated rooms” are done in earth tones and have dark wood furnishings. The quietest and most convenient rooms are located near the pool, allowing for immediate lounge chair access.
While the hotel is not beachfront, it is only a three-minute walk to the praised Pebbles Beach on Carlisle Bay; the chefs will prepare a picnic basket for those venturing to the beach for lunch. For those looking to spice things up and try off-property, local spots, the hotel is a quick drive to Bridgetown, The Malibu Rum Distillery, The Barbados Golf Club and a wide selection of exciting restaurants and nightlife.
Mingle at the daily afternoon tea and snacks service before getting ready for dinner at the on-site restaurant serving Caribbean fusion dishes. The bar and restaurant are open all day and host live entertainment three nights per week. Check the hotel website for dining dress code. A conference room is available for group events and business travelers.
