Set in between downtown Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh International Airport, the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh West-Green Tree is convenient to many of Pittsburgh’s most popular attractions.
The hotel is a 10-minute drive to Heinz Field, home of the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers and also a concert venue for big-name acts like Kenny Chesney and the Rolling Stones. The Andy Warhol Museum is just a block away from Heinz Field and is the only museum in the world dedicated to the iconic pop artist.
Newly renovated in 2014, the hotel is a contemporary mix of dark brown woods, cream walls and chic silver light fixtures. Rooms repeat this motif with modern carpeting in brown and tan undulating lines, all-white bedding and pops of bright purple in an accent chair and in a framed close-up of a flower.
Visitors during the warmer months can enjoy the outdoor pool and grab a bite at the pool bar. Year-round there’s a restaurant featuring American fare three times a day, a fitness center and a 24-hour business center.
