Overview

New Park Manor is a family-friendly retreat right in the heart of the New Forest. Said to have been Charles II's favourite hunting lodge, the property is now a "tasteful" (The Daily Telegraph) boutique hotel, offering fine dining and a sumptuous spa.

The hotel's natural surroundings are great for outdoor activities -- from clay-pigeon shooting, archery, horse riding and climbing trees in the extensive grounds, to watersports and beach walks a short drive away.

The Bath House Spa has a 16-metre indoor pool, a steam room, a sauna, a hydrotherapy pool, a hot tub with views of the grounds, power jets, a foot spa and experience showers. The Daily Telegraph praises the spa as "one of the finest examples" of a luxury spa.

The Stag restaurant offers fine dining while the informal Vinery restaurant caters for all with child-friendly menus. If you're feeling virtuous, there's even a juice bar located in the spa.

The hotel's 25 bedrooms are kitted out with plush furnishings and some have original period features and parkland views. There's plenty of places to relax, including the cosy Rufus Lounge (with an open fire in winter months), a snug room and a cinema room, plus a crèche.

Staff were amazing and the food selection for breakfast was great. We have been a few times now and was nice that all the work had been finished. Need to spend some time on the room and rest of hotel now.

Lovely setting and nice spa area both inside and out.

Lovely pleasant staff but poor service over evening dinner. had to send main course back due to being luke warm. Had to remind them I'd ordered a bottle of fizzy for our 10th Anniversary. Would still return tho for the location, views and spa/pool/outdoor hot tub etc. Upgraded to a better room but that could still do with some TLC. Be even better when the outdoor pool is open in better weather.

The service was very disappointing at dinner and breakfast. The food was not of good quality or standard. Poor quality meat and portion size was very small and was not gourmet enough to be so. Travel zoo and trip adviser gave a false image of this hotel. It wa my husband's birthday on 26/03/17 so this suppose to be a treat and it was not. We had booked dinner for 7pm but we were not allowed to dine in the main dining room as we have a baby. This was unfair. Had we known this I would not have booked this deal. A top london hotel at full price would have suited us better. We are totally put off booking deals with travel zoo.
