The Bellagio Las Vegas is the apogee of palatial luxury. The Mediterranean-inspired décor features Dale Chihuly glass sculptures and Italian marble bathrooms. The flowering neoclassical Roman garden has five swimming pools, four spa tubs and private cabanas with misting systems. The hotel is renowned for its "O" by Cirque du Soleil aquatic performance and its daily choreographed water ballet set to music with 1,200 dancing fountains in the Bellagio Lake.
There’s so much to do in the hotel, you’re lucky if you make it out the front door to the Vegas Strip. Guests have 24-hour access to the indoor conservatory and exotic botanical gardens, can browse the Gallery of Fine Art, play a game of poker at the legendary casino or dine inside or alfresco at eleven different restaurants.
The hotel completed a $165 million renovation of all of its 3,933 rooms in early 2015. Rooms were made even swankier with Italian marble soaking tubs, gorgeous decor and automatic drape controls.

When we tried to check in it said to check in faster with the mobile app so we downloaded it and it said we had done everything and a code was coming, so we got out of the very very long line. When we did get notice after 25 minutes it said we had to see the front desk so we had to get back in that long line and it was bc of my reservation made through the website.

Paid $40 for hotel fee then I had to pay $18 per day for parking! I did not feel very welcome. The check in employee did not seem very friendly. She said oh you using booking service so you get only what is available - two queen beds for my wife and I - it made for a crowded room. I will not be going back.

the shower room was clogged with lots of hair after the staff fix it the next day. we were standing in the dirty water the first night during shower. wanted for over an hour for getting things needed such as shower towel, shampoo, and body wash (the first staff picked up my request forgot. ) when we check out, they try to charge us a lot for the refreshments we even not touching. the bellman was asking 5 dollars tip for handing us the stored luggage (we only have 2 pieces of medium size luggage and a few small bags.) Isn’t rude how much they asking?

The public spaces and long hallways are beautifully decorated with gorgeous marble and window-coverings, and it is pleasant to walk from one area to the other except when being forced to walk through the smoky casino and that is necessary more often than I would have liked. They need to do something about the smokiness as it was a detractor in our opinion. Of course, we found the same thing in other casinos and I think it's time to have a no-smoking policy in the casinos as everyone else has to breathe the smoke as well since of course the smoke goes everywhere.

I felt nickel-ed and dime-d at every opportunity. We had to pay the $44 resort fee which is now mandatory and includes the fitness center and wi-fi. However, it DOES NOT include the spa area that had two hot tubs and a cold plunge. That was an extra $40 per day, per person. Without the spa pass, we could not use an indoor hot tub at all and it was too cold during our stay to go outside and use the one heated tub, which closed at 4pm. Also, food everywhere was VERY expensive. To check in early was $35 extra. to have a small cup of fruit instead of potatoes at breakfast was $3 extra, a small oval bowl of steamed vegetables was $8 extra - breakfast for five people the first day was $190 with tip and we all ate lightly compared to what most people eat. Also, late checkout was $35 extra per hour after 11am. For two queen beds, if we had more than two people in the room, that was an additional $50 per night. Come on, guys! By the way, if a resort fee is mandatory for everyone, then it is not a resort fee and it should be included in the price per room, rather than added on as part of the "fees and taxes" charges.
The room was good size and the bathroom recently remodeled with lovely grayish marble. The bedroom itself had one wall of orange/rust wallpaper and orange-ish curtains and carpet. Pretty dated looking, but certainly clean and well-maintained. The hallways were light, properly comfortable and very clean, too.
I think our rooms were a "deal" because they hadn't been renovated, but at well over $240 per night including everything but the spa pass, not cheap. Next time I'll stay in a quiet hotel off or away from the strip and drive in to see shows. Las Vegas, even at this time of year, is very crowded and it doesn't feel friendly the way it used to.

Luck of the draw in Vegas I suppose. Ended up getting what appeared to be a fantastic room on the 34 of 36 floors located at the Bellagio. Everything seemed to be exactly what I had imagined. Ended up getting a noise complaint at 3pm for turning on the TV from our "wonderful" neighbor. After going out for the night I had a few guests over and had the TV on again at a low volume. Within 5 minutes got another 2 noise complaints from the same neighbor! It was ridiculous... We were not yelling or screaming or playing loud music we are all grown adults. To make it worse, staff at the location added insult to injury and threatened to kick us out if they had to come back another time. The staff member also stated she could hear us talking all the way down the hall which is a gross overstatment and exaggeration in my opinion. Ended up having to force my guests out and turn off everything and go to bed, wonderful. Nothing bad on Travelzoo or the Hotel per se.... but what a way to get an unlucky hand.
