Beqa Lagoon Resort is located on Beqa Island, just south of Fiji's main island. You won't find roads and busy towns; instead, just traditional villages and a relaxed way of life. The resort is great for those who like to dive or snorkel, with boats leaving daily to visit the reefs and explore.
This island is also the place where the tradition of cultural activities such as Fijian dancing, kava ceremonies and fire walking began.
There are many ways to spend time on Beqa Island, including snorkeling and scuba diving -- the more adventurous traveller could go on a shark dive to swim with lemon, bull, nurse, and reef sharks amongst rainbow coral and other sea life. Kayaking is also a popular activity, as well as fishing and hiking to the springwater waterfall.
