the hotel was lovely, and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. the Copper Grouse restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and lunch.

This is my fourth Travel Zoo stay at Kimpton Taconic. I return because I enjoy the blend of old-fashioned New England hospitality with modern amenities. If Travel Zoo continues its offers, I will continue to return.

Wonderful stay, staff friendly, restaurant excellent and bar staff friendly

We enjoyed the social hour on the big front porch. Our room was a bit small but clean and quiet.

WE loved the wide and deep porches with rocking chairs and sofas to while away social hour with a complementary drink. Also there were free passes to Hildene, the Lincoln family home ( $50 value). Also we loved the fact that the hotel was completely pet friendly.

We loved the Kimpton Taconic. One complaint is that the room we had only had 1 chair. This meant for my husband and I, one person sat in the chair and the other had to use the bed.

One thought , is to have a small dedicated & enclosed area with a fence by the parking lot for dogs to relieve themselves . Saw this on multiple rest stops in NY off of the Thruway . Not large enough for play but perfect for relief .

The hotel is lovely. It’s a perfect size; big enough to have wonderful amenities but not so large that it feels like a convention center. Definitely hope to return.

Playlist of music could be piped in a little quieter, the choice of music confused me too…was it Indie eclectic (?), sometimes not so easy to listen to

We were able to stay part of the first day of our check-in because I became ill. We got to our room about 1:30 or 1:45 but had to leave about 8:30 pm that night. So I really can't say much more about our stay.

Our 4th visit, each has completely enjoyable. We just love the hotel, beautiful, comfortable, well decorated and very dog friendly! We will be back!

Love everything about this hotel, except that the restaurant is very expensive, particularly for breakfast.

I know this hotel allows dogs, but I must tell you that it’s almost every person that had a dog. A bit much.

this was my 3rd time travelling with a friend with the Travelzoo rate to the Kimpton Taconic. I love the atmosphere of the hotel and the area is gorgeous! Everyone is so nice and helpful. The pool area is great and the restaurant is always great. Love this deal and will keep coming back as long as they offer it yearly.

I had a lovely 2-night break from parenting and greatly enjoyed the setting, wrap-around porch area, and convenient location.

We just wrapped up a 3-day staycation at this iconic Manchester hotel and it was such a treat! The place is so quaint and welcoming — dog-friendly (lots of pups 🐾) — and every evening they host a Social Hour with complimentary wine and beer on the porch. Such a lovely way to unwind! Breakfast and dinner at the Copper Grouse were delicious, and we even enjoyed room service one night — the food was excellent across the board. The outdoor pool was amazing, and in the evenings the fire pit made for such a cozy spot to relax. We also got complimentary tickets to Hildene, the Lincoln family home, which was a fascinating and informative tour. On top of that, we did some shopping, checked out art galleries, strolled the sidewalks, and ate at the local pub. We loved it so much we’re planning to make this an annual thing. It’s the perfect spot to bring family, kids, and dogs. There’s plenty on the itinerary we didn’t even get to, and even if you just want to relax, there’s a nearby wellness spa for that too. Parking was easy and plentiful, which made the whole stay even more stress-free.

It was a great experience to stay there so cozy the restaurant was really comfortable on site even though we ate somewhere else but the area and the shopping and just the beauty of the place the happy hour that they gave us a free drink and then to go to hildene the next day for free was wonderful what a great place to stay I would stay there again and I would recommend others

It is a beautiful property, impeccably decorated. The porches are a great place to hang out and relax and socialize. It was also fun to play games on the lawn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great, easy access to many things!

Love this place. The rooms are so clean and have pretty much everything you need. If you want a microwave, etc you can request one. Love the location! Staff very pleasant!

We booked through travelzoo and it was a good value. The resort was very nice. I wish when booking in they could have given me info about the resort and area

Everything was great and the hotel is beautiful! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Our only problem is they charged us the resort fee which was included in the deal with Travelzoo and we are waiting for them to contact us and remove it from our credit card.

My daughter and I had a great trip with our 2 dogs. The Taconic is so cozy!

We had a grand time at the Klimpton Taconic Hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating The location was perfect for experiencing Manchester. Several excellent restaurants within walking distance. Complimentary cucumber or lemon water was welcomed on very hot days. Also, complimentary were afternoon snacks, and a social hour. We golfed at Equinox and spent a morning at Hildene House which was included in our package. The hotel is very dog friendly. We look forward to returning. Highly Recommend.
