We had a fabulous experience here!! The location is perfect, 2 blocks from Union Square, across the street from the Powell BART station. Staff was very friendly and helpful, continental breakfast was nice. The only thing negative was that the hallways on the 6th floor were very cold. Thanks for a great stay!!!

The hotel was very difficult to find. Almost zero street level signage. The lobby ambience was kind of weird. And, while the room was a decent size, the security felt odd. The auto closing door had to be pulled shut. After two days of coming back to an unlocked/ajar door (from the cleaning staff not pulling it shut) we were a little unnerved. Security was lax in that anyone could walk in off the street (in daylight hours) and stroll into the elevators without using a keycard. And in downtown SanFran, you can imagine how that makes one feel.

The room was spacious. Great location. Besides the shower issue, the room was clean. Late check out was provided for no additional fee.

No coffee makers in room even though their site says they did, no closet in room so no place to hang up clothes. Bathroom was just ok and there were some cleanliness issues which I reported but were not taken care of, specifically, that the shower had someone’s residual soap left in the soap dish and that it was draining slowly, so you’d be standing ankle deep in water at the end of your shower.

I have been charged for breakfast. I did auto check out so did not see the final bill. We gave out waiter the coupons at breakfast. I am still waiting for the hotel to respond. It’s been over 24 hours

Only problem was loud people outside our room at 3 AM.. a lot of banging doors too.

The rooms were clean.

There was a lot of homeless by the hotel and they were defecating on the street in front of the hotel every morning the sidewalks had to be cleaned. I did not feel safe to walk around the area. Also, the $159 room rate is a joke once they add all their taxes and fees and parking. And the free breakfast was a continental breakfast

Nice hotel, good location near public transportation, very nice continental breakfast with fruit, pastries, muffin, croissant, and good juice.
