Beautiful hotel in every respect. Great staff, including restaurant wait staff. A couple of cons, the evening bartender was unbelievably slow and disorganized and the "wine tasting for two"--a Travelzoo amenity--was really "2 for the price of one wine tasting." Other that that, we all had an amazing time and hope to return soon.

This was our first time staying at this hotel! At first glance, it reminded me of an Italian villa. Everyone was nice, friendly and super helpful. The room we booked was really nice and clean. The balcony opened straight to the courtyard. Overall it was an amazing experience. We did wine tasting there as well 2 nights in a row. The staff working in the wine tasting room were amazing!! We would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to go and experience a little bit of Italy in CA.

Great stay! Wine tasting on site was very nice. Staff were informative, and there was no pressure to buy wines. Pool area very nice. Plenty of Sun and/or shade depending on your preference.

Everything went well except for the "wine tasting for 2". It turns out that the offer was "2 for 1" wine tasting, which meant we had to pay $30 for the tasting. This was embarrassing and upsetting as we thought we were getting a free wine tasting for the 2 of us. We would appreciate it if Travelzoo could give us a $30 credit for future bookings.

The travelzoo ad advertised that the deal included winetasting for two at a $35 value. However the hotel informed us that it was instead a 2 for 1 deal and that we had to pay for one at $35 to get a second tasting. Because of this we did not do the winetasting. Disappointing

We stayed two nights in a Premium Prelude King Terrazza room. The hotel is beautiful and the entire property is spectacular. All of the staff were kind and helpful. We cannot wait to return for another stay.

The morning coffee at the front desk was wonderful. The pool and hot tub area were nicely maintained. We received good service at the onsite restaurant Cello.

The resort is stunning. We especially enjoyed wine tasting and indulging in a lovely charcuterie board at the tasting room the resort has on site. We felt as though we were a world away while we were on the property. The room and bathroom we stayed in were opulent and the bed was extremely comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud. We visited in December, so we didn't get to enjoy the pool - but it looked very inviting. Because we visited during the holiday season, there was a carol singer in the lobby singing in front of the fire place when we checked in. It was such a beautifully inviting welcome. We can't wait to return to Allegreto and recommend it to anyone we talk to who is planning on visiting the Central Coast of California.

The Cello Restaurant is fabulous. If you buy the wine in the tasting room you get a 10% discount. Then take it to Cello Restaurant and they don’t charge a corkage fee

The front desk did not honor the free tasting. They claimed it was one free not two. Plus the price was $45 each. The front desk claimed this was Travelzoo’s mistake
