I was very disappointed by purchasing the Travelzoo deal. Lately it seems when I book a room with Travelzoo it seems to be the worst rooms in the hotel. No more for me. I’ll pay the extra money to know that I will be getting a better room.

I booked through Travelzoo and was assigned a room at the corner of the building. ‘Courtyard’ view was a very misleading description of the actual view. That lead me to look at the booking prices from the hotel. Turns out I could have booked an ocean view room for less to about the same I paid for my Travelzoo deal. I mentioned my disappointment to the front desk and asked if I could be upgraded. I was ‘upgraded’ to the room across the hall, still at the far corner of the building. The upgraded ‘ocean view’ was from the bathroom window. Yes, I could see the ocean from the bathroom window. Lesson learned no more booking with Travelzoo.

Really enjoyed my experience here. The staff were.extremely professional and the hotel was in an excellent location. Morning coffee and tea were a plus and being so close to beach access was wonderful. Great restaurants nearby too. The Rooftop food was great as was there happy hour.

Enjoy the friendly service and having parking.

no place to unload luggage. wonderful view. t.v. station & tv going out. call maint.3x.close to a lot of shopping. food 4 thought /restruand could be use for some kind of small breakfast or snacks.

Very unique and quaint. The rooftop bar is worth the entire stay. The food, drinks and service are excellent and they even bring you our blankets to coverup as nightfall arrives and the ocean chill sets in. The view is amazing and the serenity is divine. One complaint, major street construction in front & side of the hotel was inconvenient to say the least. Plus, construction started right outside our window at 8am sharp ruining a good hangover. I think we should have been advised of that or at least compensated in some form as a nice gesture?

Great lil gem. The rooms are on the smaller side, no frills but very clean. I appreciated the furniture and the ability to borrow each chairs and umbrella was nice. The entertainment in the lounge was a nice touch and we very much enjoyed listening to Grace in the lobby.

Parking is off site across the main road. Loved the free Laguna Beach trolley that ran down PCH to the downtown area. Otherwise it was about a mile walk.
