It was nice, its a large hotel with one restaurant and one bar/pub. Nice atmosphere.

We did not get a sofa in our room and that was advertised on the travelzoo website. Housekeeping never came to clean our room and we spoke to the front desk three times asking for our room to be cleaned.

The room was a nice size and we had a view of the ocean. The only problem with the room was the lighting. It was so dark that I had to use my flashlight on my phone to read my book. Also, we had a $50 gift card as part of our Travelzoo package We used it for breakfast at the restaurant and the bill came to $43.00 We were told that we cannot use the left over money on the card towards our next meal. The card was one time use only. No where on the gift card did it say that. If the meal had only come to $25.00:,we would have been out the other $25.00. Better to give 2 $25.09:gift cards, so all the money you are entitled to would be used

A fantastic, classy reno of a perfectly located hotel. Luxury decor and amenities. Restaurants, bars, and retail were all clean, delicious and had lots to offer. Rooms were clean and well appointed.

Overall a good experience. Some issues with our room: very poor lighting, couldn’t read in bed at night because there was only one light between the beds that was very dim. Only one place in the room to charge devices, nothing at bedside. Mattress was very soft, seemed to be over the hil. Pillows were terrible, no support

Great hotel experience. My only issue was that we should have been informed that the $50 credit was for a one time use regardless of whether you do not use the entire amount. This definitely should have been communicated to us.

It was an enjoyable stay, The room was spacious with a view to the beach. Extremely disappointed that the pool was closed (huge bummer) and although the beach is steps away the water was very rough.

We used our $50 room credit at the Taproom for breakfast which was mediocre at best, food came out cold and you don't get to use any of the remaining credits. The bathroom shower stall should really have hand hold bar as the shower floor can be slippery.

16 floors and only 1 ice machine working on 3rd floor, the signs read 7&9 one was out of order the other broken, for a extremely hot week it could be better maintained. i had to wait till 5:45 for a 4pm check in, fitness room not!!! there is a room but no machines working except for tv and water cooler, thermostat read 85 and thermostat was set at 75, too hot, phone in room does not work, only busy signal. the front desk was very nice, but no maintenance to fix anything or adjust the thermostat. accommodation was nice people were nice. just ok . checked out and printed bill 0.00, the front desk had charged my card for remainder of stay but did not tell me about 100.00 extra on charge for ancillary, hopefully everything resolves to the correct charge, already notified Citi about issue. all in all the hotel needs to do better it’s been 3years since they bought the place. hopefully things will turn around for them. travel zoo price was y i booked, had a nice time.

The facilities and location are excellent! The service can be improved with some additional training of staff.

The hotel, and staff was great. The beach was very clean. The beach staff was attentive and helped us set up chairs and umbrellas every morning. The reception desk staff was helpful as well. We also like the fruit water in the lobby. Happy hour at the Wahoo bar is nice, with good food and drinks... especially the crab dip. The only problem....and very minor....was the metal door stop in the room. It's right in front of the closet, and when we go to get something in the closet, we kick the door stop, and ouch! Also the bed can use a new spring. When my boyfriend sits down on his side of the bed, I pop up a little on my side. Some rooms did not have a full length mirror. These little things did not affect our stay though. Very happy overall, and I would highly recommend.
