We rented a houseboat on Shasta Lake for 8 people (could sleep up to 10). It was a good experience. We had a bit of an issue of missing equipment at first but staff fixed us up and comped the gas required to return. Great experience, overall.

It would be more convenient if you would also allow Digger Bay Marina to honor the gas cards as they are owned by the same company and are closer than Bridge Bay when refueling is needed on the West side of Lake Shasta.

All was good except the cable TV was out and apparently it has been out for more than 3 days. Could use a mini fridge in the room.

It was a great deal for the houseboat, although it is extremely antiquated, the staff were nice.

I love the Shasta Lake and the beauty of the forest and mountain the surrounded the area.

The septic tank/toilet was very smelly. The houseboat was very outdated, there was no WiFi services and no cell phone signal away on the lake. On our way back to Bridge Bay we stopped for a lunch break a few miles away from returning the house boat and the battery died on us. My husband was able to clean the contacts to be able to restart the engine. We waited for services for 3 hrs. Which we cancelled once the engine started and barely made it back on time to return the houseboat.
