Subpar food

The staff is nice.

The 38 North was not open for lunch during the summer We had to use the value of our voucher at the Water Tower Bar. The tuna poke smelled fishy and had to go back. They didn’t offer any compensation. Could have comped a beer for the inconvenience.

Great service. Very cool ambience and location.

Have been to the spa. One of my favorites.

The Fairmont doesn’t take reservations for this Lounge, but it was not crowded and easy to find a seat. The “wine tender” Sarah was very sweet and shared many local activities and wineries to try during our stay. Menu is not large, but food was excellent as was the wine pairing. Excellent value and a wonderful time. We will return!

Outstanding!

The entire experience far exceeded my expectations. The staff took great care of my party and the food was exceptional. I can nit remember when I experienced such a return on investment.

The food was excellent and large portions. The server very attentive which isn't always the case with a voucher.

Sarah, the waitperson cum bartender, was outstanding. Pleasant, conversational, knowledgeable.

The food at 38 is delicious with a great variety of dishes to choose from. The abbreviated wine list had many good choices. In years past when it was warmer, we ate outside.

There are no reservations taken for 38, so why ask about booking?

Service was great and friendly! Easy self parking available. The grounds were groomed and flowers were blooming!
