This is an older building and the rooms are small. The shower was extremely small, but you have to expect that as a trade off for the location.

Excellent service. Restaurant is good. Morning coffee in lobby is average but in room espresso is good. Great location, nice rooms. Will go back for the warm, generous service.

Valet not always available, but easy parking within 2 blocks.

I'm long overdue on this review. However, I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Galleria Park Hotel. The location couldn’t be better—convenient to everything I needed. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, I felt taken care of. Everyone was extremely welcoming. Jared, the manager, clearly leads by example. His professionalism and warmth set the tone for the entire team. Jenesis at the front desk was kind and efficient, making check-in a breeze and always greeted me with a smile. A big thank you to Jacob, Edwin and Juanito, who were very helpful and made me feel right at home. And Kenneth, made sure I had everything I needed. All the attendants kept the room spotless and comfortable with such care and attention to detail. Every interaction I had during my stay reflected genuine hospitality. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for that special San Francisco experience with a personal touch. Can’t wait to come back!

The Galleria Park Hotel is wonderful. The staff is friendly and courteous, the location is great, the rooms are very clean and the bed is extremely comfortable. I will most definitely stay at this property again (& again).

This was our second visit to the Galleria Park Hotel, both times using the Travelzoo voucher. We love the location of this hotel for it's proximity to China Town, Union Square and the Financial District. It feels safe and the hotel staff is so welcoming. We love the evening sipping hour with freshly made martini's and the Illy coffee machines in the rooms. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are spacious, especially the executive king and nicely decorated. Parking is a breeze one block up at the White House Parking garage or you can opt for their valet. We travelled with friends both visits and everyone was very happy with the hotel. We will definitely return.

This is a boutique, privately owned hotel that really cares about its guests. They make a point to recognize repeat visitors and are so friendly. We loved the gentleman at the front desk, Jeffrey I believe, and the bartender of the sipping hour, Radwan was so nice and makes a mean martini. This hotel also offers discounts at Jamba Juice and an escape room located adjacent to the hotel and they have an outdoor garden/track on the third floor. There's also a restaurant next door but we were unable to try it as they were closed when we were there. Would be awesome if they served Sunday brunch.

We had a great time. The location was perfect for walking to Union Square, China Town, North Beach and the Ferry Building. The MOMA was close by too. Rooms were immaculate and it looks like the hotel was renovated completely.

The staff gets 5 stars. All were so helpful and friendly. Jeffrey was great at check in and check out and was so friendly and engaging when he served us during the free happy hour.

Attractive, Friendly, Modern, Great Location! This charming boutique hotel is at 191 Sutter Street, just 2 blocks from the Montgomery St. BART station. With a TRAVELZOO voucher, the rate was an affordable $163 per night, including taxes. A stunning fireplace blazes in the entry where the super helpful and congenial staff welcomes guests. Décor is contemporary and colorful. Wine and gin martinis are offered from 5-6 pm. The room was comfortable and included two refillable water bottles, a coffee maker, and a refrigerator. We were on the 7th floor with a nonoperational window facing the tranquil interior, although without any view. Umbrellas are provided in each room. (It was pouring rain when we visited.) This is a centrally located hotel near Union Square and the Financial District. Overnight valet parking is $78 but there are 2 nearby parking garages (The White House and Stockton/Sutter garages) that offer overnight parking for about $44. The guests were international with many languages being spoken. We look forward to staying at the Galleria Park again. Highly recommended.

Very small but beautifully appointed room. Fresh, clean, seemed newly decorated. Front desk and manager very friendly and helpful, especially with late night fire alarm evacuation to lobby. That plus making our way to the hotel through hordes lining streets for Chinese New Year Parade were unexpected entertainments. Comfy bed, beautiful lobby with amazing fireplace. Short walk to Cafe la Press for breakfast, also free coffee in hotel lobby in a m. Definitely recommend.

This was an incredible hotel in the heart of SFO. The service was 5 star and the room was clean, well appointed, and quiet. I would stay here again and highly recommend.

We stayed 3 nights after we returned from a vacation to get over jet lag. It was so nice to be close to everything, but still have a quiet and comfortable room. I was concerned over the homelessness issue in San Francisco, but we had no issues. This area of town was clean and we felt safe walking around.

We loved Jacob! He was so helpful. Not only did he grab our bags on arrival so we wouldn't have to lift them up the steps, but he also gave us recommendations on places to eat. He's such an asset to this hotel!

I have season tickets to the San Francisco ballet for 13 years. I've always stayed in Union Square. This season I tried the Galleria Park Hotel (right around the corner I might add) and I'm very pleased.
