This is a lovely place! The staff is very accommodating and kind. Our only regret is that we didn’t rent a car - taking a cab to Pienza for sightseeing was over 200 euros round trip.

An amazing experience! The historic Villa, 7 course gourmet dinner, and cooking class exceeded our expectations, and the staff are personable and responsive to our needs. Highly recommend if you want an incredible experience in Tuscany!

The staff was amazing. Literally every single staff person we met was terrific. The food was all terrific, and the Michelin dinner was the single best meal of our lives. And we also got so much out of the cooking class. It was an incredible time and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Best experience with hotel staff I have experienced. They were every attentive and willing to accommodate changes and helped with providing some ideas on things to do.

Incredibly warm and hospitable staff. The food has been superb. The grounds are quiet, lush, and the views are so lovely overlooking the countryside. It’s a lovely relaxing experience.

Not only is this a beautiful hotel and chateaux, but they gave us a great bottle of Prosecco with snacks, we will test out the restaurants over the next couple of days, but they also booked severygreat wine experiences as well. You want a first class experience this is the place!!!!

Our only suggestion is that the cooking class include only 2 pastas and perhaps a dessert and side dish or charcuterie tray ideas. It was very difficult to eat 4 pastas for lunch!

Nice hotel and excellent staff!

The staff was very helpful and attentive. The hotel was very clean and well taken care of. The cooking class was fabulous and the special dinner on the last night was incredible. The food was excellent and the service was the best. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who appreciates the finer things in life.

AMAZING deal! Unfortunately, was not able to eat at I Sollati but pasta making class was with Chef Katia which made up for it! A bit isolated if you don't have a car. Staff are all wonderful. Suite was incredible. All the food was delicious - best bistecca ever!

We used the 3 night, cooking class and chef inspired dinner voucher. The hotel is small and charming. The staff was superior brand ambassadors. Katia, the executive chef and general manager, and her team were outstanding during the cooking class.

Villa il Patriarca is a gem, in every sense. A beautiful, peaceful, expansive property with the most wonderful, welcoming staff. Add to this an elevated, gourmet tasting menu created by Michelin Star Chef, Katia and the opportunity to spend 3 hours in her kitchen for a hands-on cooking class-it was a dream; a truly exceptional experience.

The hotel is beautiful and all of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. They worked very hard to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The dining options for breakfast, lunch and dinner were all excellent. The gourmet dinner prepared by Katia Maccari was delicious and presented to us in 6 courses that lasted well past 11 PM. It was an event we will remember forever.

We booked a package through TravelZoo that included breakfast, one dinner in the Taverna, the gourmet dinner, and a cooking class with Katia Maccari. The package also explicitly included the room options for either the Fellini or Messina suites. When I originally tried to book the room, we were put in one of their other suite rooms not up to the same level as the two named suite rooms even though the package clearly states the Fellini or Messina suites. Fortunately I caught this and was able to get availability information for the higher end suite rooms and rework our schedule to match up with their availability. But this would not have happened if I didn’t pay close attention and make sure that I got what should have been included explicitly in the package. Furthermore, we got a cooking class but it wasn’t with Katia Maccari as advertised in our package. Another chef gave us the cooking class and it was very good, but it was a disappointment that here again we were not being provided the services as advertised in the TravelZoo package. We almost didn’t get the room as advertised in the package and we did not get the cooking class with the Michelin starred chef. Because of this, I would be hesitant to book a package with this hotel again and also through TravelZoo again. You just don’t know if you’re actually going to get what you paid for.

This place is really nice. Staff goes out of there way to make you have a great experience.

Excellent experience overall

Wonderful!

The staff was so wonderful! Friendly snd attentive. Made us lunch platters when we arrived. The restaurants were excellent. The chef tasting dinner was an extraordinary experience. And the cooking lesson just amazing and fun.

Two negative things. We did not get one of the advertised suites in the package deal even though the names of those suites were in our reservation. We got a smaller suite. Also the showers are very difficult to use and often result in very wet floors.

We enjoyed this experience in the heart of Tuscany! The stay was excellent from the room to the gourmet dinner to the cooking class we participated in. We were there in October so we didn't get to use the beautiful pool, but we wished we could have. The location is close to many other towns around the area making sightseeing easy. Parking was easy and free at the villa.

The cooking class and gourmet dinner were excellent experiences!!! We will take our recipes and new knowledge back to the USA.

We had an excellent time. Food was great, wine. Service. Everything exceptional

I miss it already.
