Hotel location, room, breakfast, beachfront, pool, service, all were amazing!

Hotel is in a great location on the beach. It is well maintained and has a modern updated feeling. Nice that they supply all guests with beach loungers and an umbrella. Pool is rather small. It has a lazy river which is more like a little lazy circle. Staff was very friendly and welcoming

The location was perfect and the inclusion of chair/umbrella service was something that made me decide on this hotel versus another. The beach was beautiful and the hotel ambiance was great as well. We had an inland view room and the view wasn't great, but the bigger issue was the street noise. Lots of loud vehicle noises pretty late into the night. I'd make sure to book beachfront next time to avoid that and also have a balcony. The only real downside to the hotel is they were not very efficient with the food/drink service. When ordering lunch at the pool bar, the bartender had to go upstairs to get the food. And there were wines by the glass on the pool bar menu that we were told were only available upstairs. Very odd. It was also annoying that depending on the day/bartender, drinks were priced differently. One day my son's virgin pina colada was $12 and the next it was $14. $14 for a smoothie is ridiculous. But all in all, we had a great time and would 100% come back.

Stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the benefits the hotel offered. Restaurant food offerings were delicious and the complimentary breakfast was well done and appreciated. Ample room on the beach and nicely maintained. Next time will choose a Gulf side room for the balcony and view.

the continental breakfast was great! It reminded me of a cruise ship buffet.nice that the beach chairs and umbrella were included.

When I checked in they wanted over $1400 instead of the $785.35 travelzoo deal. No manager on duty to rectify the booking error, since they claimed I booked directly with them. The hotel staff at check in was very rude and dismissive and offered no assistance, suggestions or help in any way. They said it was the manager's day off and no one there had the authority the make any changes. Unbelievable! Thankfully after being screwed around for about an hour, one of your service assistants managed to contact the manager of the hotel and agreed to accept the travelzoo deal. So now I just got off the phone with my bank to dispute the extra day charge they added at check out and a mysterious $100 charge no one could explain. How could a hotel of that stature not have someone on duty that could help customers resolve issues when they arise? It would also have been nice if the towel lady could speak english! THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP IN THIS MATTER! YOU WERE A LIFESAVER!

We liked the rooms and the hotel in general. Having two chairs with an umbrella was a really nice amenity. The only negative was that the staff was not trained. They didn't offer any real welcome or enthusiasm upon arrival, and seemed not to know much about the area. We asked where the Visitor's Center was, and the two at the desk didn't know. I had to ask if they would figure it out and mark it on the map.

It was convenient to have a restaurant onsite, but the food was mediocre. We ate there the first night because we arrived late. Plus they served farm raised shrimp instead of wild gulf shrimp when we would see the gulf from the restaurant! There were many seafood suppliers around.

Everything great, except non-enforcement of no-smoking policy. Man smoking on his balcony ruined opportunities to sit out on our balcony to enjoy the atmosphere

Bartenders not the friendliest during happy hour, but everything else was nice. We were fortunate to not be a room next to a constantly barking dog.

Initially the service desk person could not find my reservation??! Please make sure in the future the reservation information is transferred over to the hotel CORRECTLY! In addition, please provide a hotel reservation #, in addition to the Travelzoo reservation, so there is NO CONFUSION.

The Hyatt Place Panama City Beach was great! I had absolutely no issue with our accommodations.

I have booked 6 trips thru Travelzoo and this was the first time I’ve been disappointed. I have always believed Travelzoo would offer me the best price but I was wrong. The “special” price offered turned out not to be very special. I booked our room for $99. Per night and then decided to upgrade to an ocean view room with a balcony - an additional $40. per night. I was OK with that until we found out the hotel was offering the same room for $94. per night. No membership needed. I think going forward I will be double checking prices.

This was my second time staying here. There was a little dip from the first time, but it was still good and I would go back. If I remember correctly, there was a better selection of breakfast foods two years ago when it first opened. Most of the staff was excellent, there were a few who were not as interested in pleasing the customers. Nothing horrible, just not as helpful. For example, they were very lazy about folding pool towels, and we had to take towels out of a bin from the laundry instead of having them folded and available. I was always afraid I might be pulling a towel from a dirty bin instead of it being fresh.,

Amazing staff that went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We were on our Motorcycles and very tired so that meant the world to us :)

Our only disappointment was there was no indoor pool.

Cold and rainy weather hot tub was wonderful.

Nice hotel, parking was convenient, breakfast was great, great access to the beach and close to things to do.

Unfortunately, it was cold and there was a snow storm that spoiled our holiday. The restaurant in the hotel leaves a lot to be desired.

Staff are friendly and accommodating. I don’t like the soap dispenser, they are hard to use and wasteful.

I would have preferred an ocean view room or a balcony even if there was an extra charge.

Clean room and beach chairs on beach.

The noise from the street coming from the windows were super loud and ac did not cool room very well it got hot every night. The breakfast was not good. Also the parking deck was not secured due to broken gate.

Gorgeous hotel in a great location. Lazy River was great, as was the beach chair and umbrella service.
