Our Travelzoo package with arrival mai tais and water bottles was not honored. Air conditioner broke and we were moved. Room only cleaned every other day.

The resort was beautiful! We had an oceanfront/pool view room that was magnificent! We enjoyed the huge pool and 5 hot tubs! The breakfast by pool was so delish! The short walk to lighthouse was worth the walk . Dukes restaurant was excellent!

Parking can be a little bit of a challenge.

I'm so glad to take advantage of this TravelZoo deal on the Royal Sonesta Hotel. The hotel was perfect in every way. I would not pay the regular price of the hotel, but with the TravelZoo discounted price, I was more than happy to pay for its discounted price. Thanks so much! Hope to be there again soon.

Staff was very professional and attentive. Rooms were newly renovated and very clean. Was bummed that they didn’t provide the welcome Mai tai’s as promising the package. They claim they discontinued that part of the offer last month and to make up for it offered 10% off at the restaurants. The package on travelzoo was such a value for the money.

I think there are areas of the hotel that are beautiful and the location as well. It is easy to get to on the island. I have been there when it was a Marriott which was much nicer. The hotel needs some updating. The staff was very helpful as well.

They gave us a small horrible room that seemed like a Motel 6. It faced a wall with dead plants on the side. Very small with a dumpy bathroom. I complained and they gave me a different room for $30 more per night the next day. Also lots of construction going on and restaurant closed with a small option in a covered awning open along with a Japanese restaurant open by all the construction.
