Basic room was disappointing that my husband and I had. My other family members upgraded and theirs Was terrific. We will try to upgrade on our next visit providing it isn’t too costly.

Great food and magnificent Views. (But not from our room; reception wasn’t accommodating for the 2 of us to upgrade tho. Our room was dark and crampEd. )

I love staying at the Red Mountain Resort. I was able to interact with Matthew at the Front Desk. He is very personable, friendly and professional. I spent some time in the Outfitters Gift Shop and really enjoyed my conversation with Karla. She made me feel really welcome and I love the curated collection of gifts and memorabilia. I enjoyed my time so much I bought a Red Mountain Resort magnet and ornament for my travel tree.

Housekeeping in the Dragonfly building was not too good, as they left a disposable shaver cover on the bathtub ledge and knocked on my door at around 10:30 am to see if I had checked out. I advised them that I was doing my final packing and would be leaving shortly. This was the only lapse in customer service. The customer service provided at the front desk during check in and out and the restaurant wait staff was superb.

The staff were impeccable, they were very responsive and caring to my elderly parents. I couldn't have done it without their attentiveness.

The grounds were beautiful. Staff very friendly. Food was good in the restaurant.

If you are older like we are, request a room with softer beds and a walk in shower. The room we had had such a high bathtub to step over to take a shower.

It’s a very relaxing place. Outdoor spaces with strategically placed hammocks and water features with the backdrop of the red rocks are very relaxing. To end your day with fire and s’mores that you didn’t prepare is like candy!

Despite the dark carpeting, we could see the darker stains on it. Everything else is awesome!

Amazing place is beautiful setting! My kids loved the pool and I enjoyed the fitness classes! Amazing hikes right from the property! Very nice room with comfortable beds. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The place exudes relaxation!

Pros: Great setting. Friendly service. Great value with Travelzoo deal. Great walking path through lava field. Nice perks with bottled water and smores kit. Complimentary breakfast was nice - could have explained how it worked better. Cons: Complex is a bit dated. Paid for Mountain View room, but got view of tree instead. Small, a bit dated room. Coffee maker didn't work. Bathroom fan weak and didn't remove steam. Toilet loose. Pool is large, but half of it is 8 feet deep. Driving to room is convoluted.

The hotel was amazing. Great location with great views. Very serene.

Check in was messy, but the next day the crew was much better. Request were never received twice, we actually flagged down a guy to get more wash clothes. We were able to get coffee from office next day, but the first night they said it would be delivered (it wasn't). Parking too far from room (and no luggage carts).

It was a nice place. The free breakfast was wonderful. Just some stuff made it seem like we were always working on stuff.
