Unfortunately, our stay at Nobu Hotel Chicago was disappointing. The staff was not very welcoming or accommodating when we encountered issues. Each time we entered the hotel, we were not greeted, but instead felt as though we did not belong there.
We initially had a spacious room, but it had water leaking through the floorboards. When moved to another room, we were downgraded to a noticeably smaller space. When we expressed our concerns, the staff did not seem willing to work with us and gave inconsistent explanations about room availability. Instead, they offered a $100 food credit, which was not even applied correctly to our bill until we raised the issue again.
For a hotel of this caliber, the level of hospitality and service fell short of expectations.
