The service and staff were excellent.

The staff at the Intercontinental was professional, quick to please, generous and inviting. The facility was very nice and had great amenities including 2 restaraunts and 2 bars.

It's within walking distance or trolley distance to everything, the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Royal Street, World War II museum, Snug Harbor. We received 2 drink tickets per room per night and a $20 food voucher that you could use for food or drinks (we used ours for more drinks). The concierge at the hotel we contacted months prior to arrival and she was very helpful getting us booked on our swamp tour, graveyard tour, ghost tour, telling us the best places to go for meals, etc. Overall experience was OUTSTANDING!!

Exceeded expectations. Clean, convenient and attentive.

The concierge seemed to push tours that had little to no options and did not pick up at hotel. It was a 5 block walk. Pushed the restaurant across the street that had a so-so menu. We assumed the hotel got a kick back.

This hotel is in a great location, very convenient to restaurants, attractions, the French Quarter. The room was spacious and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Service was terrible. The staff didn't seem to care. The entire place was swamped with outgoing cruise groups which made everything difficult. No EV charging. Room service app doesn't work. Restaurant would not serve before closing time (9:40 when closing is 10PM), despite front desk saying they would. Pillows were tiny. Bathroom floor, including shower, very dirty.

The location was great. In walking distance to the French Quarter and other things to see in town. Check in was easy and fast and the staff was friendly. Rooms were big, and felt pretty clean minus some stains on the wall. The Room was dark because even during the day not much light makes it onto this side of hotel as you are so close to the next building. Every time the ac turned on it felt like smoke smell came through the vents. No real fridge in the room, only a mini bar where you are not supposed to move things around or it charges you immediately - I did it anyway as I had items that required cooling, just make sure at check out they take those items you moved off the bill. Overall I feel like that International as a group just lost it's glamour, years ago this might have been a great hotel, unfortunately it's just not special anymore.

The hotel staff was welcoming from the beginning with valet service through our check out. The room was well maintained. Staff made great recommendations about things to do and sites to see.

This hotel is located in the business district which is close to the French Quarter and other areas. It is nice to be near the French Quarter but not in it.
