For $109 per night, revel in Costa Rica's tropical landscape at a resort deemed by Travel + Leisure as one of the 500 World's Best Hotels.

Rain forest-view rooms at Los Suenos Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort normally cost $239 per night, but this special slices the price for travel now through Nov. 21 including Labor Day. Plus the deal comes with a $50 resort credit (one per room, per stay).

Travel + Leisure highlights the resort's "fantasy pool system of canals, bridges, islands and swim-up bars." Apply the resort credit at the four restaurants and three bars, its spa or its 18-hole championship golf course.

Use the resort as a home base to arrange horseback-ride or zip line at nearby tour spots, explore beach towns such as Jaco (well known for its surfing spots and laid-back vibe), or tour Manuel Antonio National Park's pristine beaches and exotic wildlife (about an hour away).

This deal is not available on: July 4-6; Aug. 14-15; Nov. 14-16

Travelzoo Tip: JetBlue just launched a daily nonstop route from Fort Lauderdale to San Jose. Book by Tuesday to score a sale price of $135-$138 each way for travel Sept. 6 - Dec. 13.

Getting There: Fly into San Jose's international airport. Most travelers opt to rent a car from the airport and drive to the resort, about an hour and a half away. Private cars and taxis can also be arranged. (Most traveler hot spots in Costa Rica are outside of San Jose's limits and require a rental car or transportation.)
