ALERT: GotMyFare.com Declaring Bankruptcy

Through an email sent to our offices on April 13, 2011 at 12:40 p.m. EDT GotMyFare.com Travel & Tours announced that the company is declaring bankruptcy and will not be honoring packages purchased. A notice is also posted on the GotMyFare.com website.

Travelzoo removed the company’s vacation package offers from its website when we became aware of subscriber complaints.

The CEO of the company has been unresponsive to our repeated requests for more information on behalf of our subscribers. Attempts to reach the company through its booking number, 1-800-722-4522, have been unsuccessful.

Subscribers currently on trips are reporting unbooked tours and hotels.

If you have booked a package with GotMyFare, confirm the all aspects of your booking directly with the airline, hotels and tour operators shown on your itinerary. If your trip was not confirmed or you have not received your tickets and itinerary, immediately contact your credit card company or travel insurance provider to begin the claims process. You may be entitled to a refund or charge back through the Fair Credit Billing Act.
