With nearly £100 off the usual rate, we love this deal from The Hempel hotel in west London -- overnight stays at this 5-star boutique residence where scenes from "Notting Hill" were filmed, are now £129 per room.
The offer includes accommodation in a Superior Room, all of which have free Wi-Fi access and an iPod dock. Travelzoo subscribers will also receive a 20% discount at the hotel's No.31 Bar and No.35 Restaurant.
The same deal plus breakfast is available for £149 per room. Similarly, a package including bed, breakfast and afternoon tea, is £169 per room -- that's nearly £150 cheaper than paying for this all separately.
This deal is valid between 13 August and 3 September. From 7 September to 25 November, stay Friday to Sunday nights only.
Conceived by noted British designer, Anouska Hempel, this luxury property is tucked away on a quiet west London street, just a couple of minutes’ walk from Kensington Gardens. Its stylish, minimalist design has been widely praised; The Guardian, for example, says, “The furnishings are to die for. Never has a hotel felt more like home.” The No. 35 Restaurant is a destination in its own right, as is the No. 31 Bar, which serves a range of cocktails and bar snacks.
The hotel is also home to the Zen Garden, where the wedding scene in the film “Notting Hill” was filmed.
The first 25 bookings will receive a free upgrade to a Deluxe Room, subject to availability at the time of booking. When these are sold out, upgrades will be available for a reduced supplement of £15 per room.
Book by 18 July.
Update (9.10am, 10 July): The 25 free upgrades to Deluxe Rooms are now sold out and the 1, 8 September is now unavailable.
