The AA says "this friendly hotel enjoys a tranquil, idyllic position at the head of the valley, set among the impressive peaks of Langdale". Experience this Lakeland retreat for £95 per person for two nights, which includes a 5-course dinner on both nights, saving 42% on the usual rate.
The New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel, awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2013, is a family-run property and all the rooms are individually furnished. It makes an ideal base from which to explore the Lake District, including the town of Grasmere, once home to William Wordsworth.
