Stays in Victorian manor houses rarely come in at under £99 -- let alone under £70 -- but this deal from The Craiglands Hotel does. An overnight stay with 3-course dinner at this West Yorkshire property will now set you back £69 per room, saving up to 58% on the usual price.
When can I go
This deal is valid seven days a week from 1 January-31 March, 2014.
This Victorian country manor is in the village of Ilkley, around 15 miles from Leeds, Harrogate and Bradford. TV presenter and novelist Alan Titchmarsh recently described Ilkley as a "charming little spa town", with "breathtaking views and abundant birds, animals and wild flowers", in The Daily Telegraph.
Dinner is served in the contemporary Brasserie1 restaurant, which overlooks the hotel’s six acres of moorland, woods and grounds. The menu features classic dishes such as English lamb chops, shepherd's pie and an orange and pine nut salad.
Each room has free Wi-Fi. The on-site Touch beauty salon offers treatments ranging from massages to manicures. Bettys Café Tea Rooms, a popular Yorkshire institution, is a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
The Craiglands Hotel is a 2-minute walk from the historic spa town of Ilkley, home to the Manor House Museum and Art Gallery and a selection of independent boutique shops. The town is overlooked by Ilkley Moor, a Special Area of Conservation.
