Save a whopping 71% on an overnight stay in the Garden of England with this deal from the Blazing Donkey. Usually £135, short breaks at this 18th-century Kent farmhouse are now £39 per room, per night, including breakfast.

Accommodation is in a Double/Twin Room in the converted stables overlooking the courtyard. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms, state-of-the-art TV entertainment systems and complimentary Wi-Fi.

The country hotel is nestled between the ancient Cinque Port towns of Sandwich and Deal, near the cathedral city of Canterbury. The on-site Samphire Restaurant was officially opened in 2008, by celebrity chef and author Aldo Zilli. In keeping with the original farmhouse feel, the property has oak beams, flagstone floors and an open log fire.

This offer is valid seven days a week until 30 June, 2013. A 2-night stay package is £77 with breakfast on both mornings. A 2-night stay with daily breakfast and an à la carte dinner for two (worth £35 per person) is £99.
