The Eastbury, a boutique Georgian townhouse hotel in historic Sherborne, has put together a mini break for £119 per room. This gourmet getaway regularly costs £229, including an overnight stay for two with full English breakfast and a 7-course tasting-menu dinner in the hotel's 2-AA-Rosette Dorset Restaurant (worth £45 per person).
With its medieval architecture, small winding streets and storied past, Sherborne is the perfect destination for a spring mini break. And The Eastbury, secreted away in the heart of the town, is the perfect place to stay. It has 23 classically styled rooms, a pretty walled garden and a locally renowned restaurant. Head chef Brett Sutton and his team were awarded two AA Rosettes and a Taste of the West Gold award and Southwest Restaurant of the Year, 2012.
There is a real focus on local ingredients, showcased by the tasting menu. It features dishes such as roasted Lyme Bay scallops and a Bridgehampton lamb cutlet mini burger with slow-cooked tomato, aubergine and olives.
This offer is valid on stays from 10 March-29 May. A 2-night minimum applies for stays including a Saturday night.
