You'll begin your holiday with a night in Prague, before departing for the riverside village of Engelhartszell in Austria to begin your cruise of the Danube. You'll spend the next day sailing through vine-clad Wachau Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on your way to Vienna.
After a day spent exploring Austria's capital -- think "imperial nostalgia, opera houses and exquisite cakes" (Rough Guides) -- you'll continue along the Danube to Krems, a medieval wine-growing settlement, and Melk, famous for the illuminated manuscripts that are housed in the magnificent clifftop monastery that crowns the town.
You'll return to Prague at the end the cruise for a final night's stay, before flying home the following day.
