With beautiful beaches, Mediterranean weather and quite a lot in the way of culture, including UNESCO-listed sites, Malta has a lot to offer. More importantly, it's also great value, as demonstrated by this £399-per-person all-inclusive deal from Broadway Travel that saves up to 40%**.
Travel on select dates from 25 June-7 July; 26 August-23 October from three London airports (Gatwick, Luton and Stansted), Belfast, Birmingam, Bournemouth, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow Prestick, Leeds Bradford and Liverpool.
Availability at the lowest price is very limited from certain airports, so we recommend booking early. Visit the Broadway Travel website for a list of exact dates from each airport.
The Riviera Resort & Spa, located on the northern tip of the island, has three pools, two restaurants and three bars. All rooms have double beds, private balconies, satellite television and air conditioning. The Hola Beach Club is on Marfa Bay and offers sun loungers, umbrellas, a bar and a restaurant (drinks at Hola Beach Club are included as part of the all-inclusive board, but not food).
If you fancy getting away from the resort, spend a day exploring the capital, Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site "resplendent with cathedrals, lush gardens and colonnaded squares", according to Condé Nast Traveller. The hotel provides a free daily shuttle into Sliema -- from where it's about 20 minutes in a taxi into the city.
Peak-summer dates in July and August are available from £100 more per person from all the above airports except for Belfast. For exact dates, check the Broadway Travel website.
