The trip kicks off with a city break in Cape Town, staying close to attractions including the V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain, followed by a self-drive road trip along South Africa's Garden Route, described by The Independent as "a breathtakingly beautiful natural playground".
The itinerary features stops in the heart of the winelands, passing ostrich farms, whale-watching spots and stunning beaches along the way. The 3-night stay at the luxury malaria-free Kuzuko Lodge includes game drives across Addo Elephant National Park -- a great opportunity to spot the Big Five: rhinos, lions, elephants, Cape buffalo and leopards.
