Good New York deals are so few and far between that we haven't published a city break to the Big Apple since 2011. We recommend that you snap this one up quickly -- three nights and flights for £560 per person.

The offer is £120 cheaper than usual and includes direct return flights from Manchester, checked luggage and accommodation at the brand-new Pod 39 Hotel in a Double Pod room, close to both Grand Central Station and the Chrysler Building.

Fodor's praises the ornate features, such as the terracotta floors, Italian Renaissance facade and brick archways, as well as the hotel's "techie flair", including a video screening wall and a media hub in each bedroom that lets you connect all portable electronic devices to the TV and speakers. "Pod 39's in a great spot for exploring, too...just a quick stroll away from the United Nations, Bryant Park and Times Square," says Forbes.

The hotel has a rooftop lounge and bar with views over the city, plus a taco restaurant run by Michelin-starred chef April Bloomfield. Expect tacos filled with pork belly, lamb tongue, pigs' ears or sweetbreads. Rooms have flat-panel LCD TVs, free Wi-Fi, a glass-enclosed bathroom and organic Red Flower bath products.

Depart on 9-10, 23-24 January; 6-7 February, 2014.

Other dates are available throughout 2013, starting at £684 per person -- click here for a full list of departures. Return transfers are an extra £45 per person and include free Empire State Building tickets.

Alternatively, depart from London Heathrow for £575 per person.
